MY LOVE FOR ART :)

"THE AIM OF ART IS NOT TO REPRESENT THE OUTWARD APPEARENCE OF THINGS, BUT THEIR INWARD SIGNIFICANCE"

Art is expressed in many ways. For instance, people express art through decorating, writing and what not. But I express art through painting, coloring, mandala, and shading. For most people art is boring but for me art is something I can express my emotions through. My love for art did not come out of the bloom, it took me time and patience to figure out what is so good about it. My first drawing was when I was 6. It was a typical drawing, few mountains, trees, a small pathway, and a house. I remember feeling so happy and proud of myself that every day I grabbed a sheet of paper and drew what I saw. I continued to do small drawings but eventually stopped.

2020 was my lucky year to explore art briefly. I started of my journey with painting. Every day I went on You Tube and watched tutorials on painting and how to improve it. It was fun traveling to the land of painting, but it was time to leave and travel to another place the land of shading. I came across this very popular channel on You Tube known as Farjana Drawing Academy. I began to learn how to draw faces, eyes, nose, mouth, and hair. With all the basics I attempted to draw S.P. Bala Subramanyam Garu. I decided I needed a break from shading, so I packed my sketch book, black pen, pencil, and an eraser to travel to my favorite form of art MANDALA.

I made my own canvas and canvas holder and painted on it

The intricate designs, the different patterns, and the time it took to complete, taught me a good lesson in life. All the different patterns in the drawing represent the ups and downs in your life. The shape that you draw the patterns in is you.  With all the patterns and shapes, you draw the result always turns out to be beautiful. The result passes on a message saying that no matter how hard or easy life is it always will turn out to be beautiful until and unless you do not give up. I will always cherish my artwork no matter what. It benefited me in a way which was improving my patience.

This year for my grandmothers 70th birthday I gifted her a drawing of her and my grandfather. I was so happy to see her happiness and the happiness of my other family members. On that day I realised how art connects people emotionally and mentally, through happiness and sadness and through love and laughter. Art in any form is important in a person’s life. It teaches them how to deal with daily life situations.

To the people who haven’t found out yet about how art creates an impact in life, grab a sheet of paper and a pencil or pen, draw what comes to your mind and when its done you will realise how special it is to you :D.
