My experience to Akshaya Patra
My experience at Akshaya Patra My enthusiasm began when my aunt told me that I was going Akshaya Patra with her and her students from CIEE. I was excited. The next day me and my aunt went to her office to board a bus to Akshaya Patra and pick up the students. When we reached Akshaya Patra we had some yummy lunch. Then we had a person from the foundation to tell us the story how it started. Akshaya Patra provides food to the government schools and Anganawadi’s in Telangana district. Akshaya Patra won global food award for 2019 on June 13 th , 2019. The world’s largest NGO run mid-day-meal program serving wholesome school’s lunch to over 1.76 million children in 15,024 schools across 12 states in India. After they told us the story of the foundation, we did some volunteering and took some pictures and left. I felt very happy to experience it.
