My First 5K run!!!

 I started doing runs at the age of 6 years. I started at 2k, 3k, and 4k, and now I have finished 5k. The before the day of the run I went to an expo where we had to collect my bib and t-shirt.

 I and my aunt (Mami) woke up at 5:00 am got ready and left for HCU (University of Hyderabad) my mom and my aunt have studied there and my aunt used to work there so, I have visited the university many times.




Before the run


 There were many people enthusiastic to run and I was one of them. There was a KLM fashion fun run where people had to dress up and run. I didn’t participate but enjoyed watching the people who did. First was warm-up and Zumba which was a blast. Next was the Flag off! I had this nervous feeling where I thought that I would give up quickly, but I put them aside and was ready to run. The first flag-off was for the fashion fun runners next was the 5k runners. Everyone was screaming in excitement including me. Ready set go!!! They said and flagged off everyone started to run. After 1 km I got a bit tired and wanted to stop running but didn’t. after 2k I felt like running and reached 4km. I was dedicated to running and not walking to the finish line which I did.  Everywhere you go volunteers were cheering and motivating everyone. 







I finally reached the finish line, received my medal, and had breakfast: a muffin, veg puff, and a veg croissant yum. Then came home got congratulated by my mom, my dad, my grandmother, and my sister and took a bath, and had a great sleep. This was the best experience ever

  "Adventure is out there." - Up (Disney Pixar)  Amritsar, the second-largest city in the Indian state of Punjab, is famous for its rich cultural heritage, cuisine, historical significance and the abode to the Sikh religion. I couldn’t believe that I was going to visit that beautiful city. On 29 th April 2025, my family and I headed to the Rajiv Gandhi Airport in Hyderabad to board our flight to Amritsar through Indigo Airlines. For instance, people express art through decorating, writing and what not. But I express art through painting, coloring , mandala, and shading. For most people art is boring but for me art is something I can express my emotions through. My love for art did not come out of the bloom, it took me time and patience to figure out what is so good about it. My first drawing was when I was 6. It was a typical drawing, few mountains, trees, a small pathway, and a house. I remember feeling so happy and proud of myself that every day I grabbed a sheet of paper and drew what I saw.
